What do we do

Bajrang Yuva Dhol Pathak was conceived out of a dream and from impactful experiences from the streets of Pune.  We provide training and coaching as part of our engagement to properly guide committed and dedicated music enthusiasts of all ages while providing equipment and guidance as required. We also perform for various events and functions and aim to build a community of like-minded players to propagate this art across the island.

Coaching & Membership

The training intake window generally opens at least 3 months before Ganeshotsav, which remains the core of our education. We offer free training beginning with theory and thereafter to practice and then membership to our team. Our training program is open to people of all ages and skill levels who seek to learn and grow as musicians. Dhol and Tasha are played by women, men, teens and kids alike. Our expert coaches bring years of experience and knowledge to the table, along with a contagious passion for the art. Members can also join our team in Pune for the Ganapati Visarjan processions. Against this free training and education, we simply demand integrity, dedication, respect and humility.

Our Traditional Indian Dhol Tasha Music outreach program is aimed at creating a widespread exposure to the Dhol Tasha principles. We assist the qualified members in opening new branches in areas across the island, maintenance of equipment, support. Provision of equipment required is chargeable. 

Functions

Upon invitation, our team will play Dhol, Tasha & Dhwaj at your processions, state events, regional or local events with utmost passion. We have experience in performing at national level celebrations with high level dignitaries while also performing at local events at localities. Our charges depends on distance, transportation, hours involved, number of players required and event. Given the logistics involved, we would request you to get in touch with us to better understand the requirements and expectations.

Festivals

As part of our heritage and tradition, Ganeshotsav is a core festival for the team and we are present for several events for the 10 days' processions. Our team also performs for jooloss (processions) for Navaratri and other religious festivals. Our charges can vary largely for religious events. While we are heavily reliant on events to financially ustain ourselves, we try our best to accomodate for festivals. Kindly get in touch with us for an estimate and donation requests.
